Digital Asia Hub is looking for volunteers to help support the 20th anniversary edition of the China Internet Research Conference (CIRC) in Chiang Mai from 12-14 July 2023. 

We are looking for people available to support for the entire week starting July 10-14 including 3 conference days on-site at Chiang Mai University.

 

Volunteers will have the opportunity to engage with over 50 China-focused emerging and established scholars from around the world.
 

What we are looking for

• conduct short video interviews with scholars during the conference 

• draft daily updates for social media 

• assist with Zoom back-end coordination, and communication with virtual speakers

• interface with Chiang Mai University and DAH staff on various logistics and operation matters during the conference

 

Profile of applicants

• University students or young professionals physically based in Chiang Mai during the week of the conference 

• demonstrated interest in digital issues and or China is a plus. 

• Fluency in English is expected, ability to speak Thai and/or Mandarin is a plus.
